Both of these cases were treated prior to comprehnsive orthodontic appliances (braces) because of their retrusive (set back) upper jaws. At ages 7-9 this skeletal problem can be easily corrected. These patients are both being observed for future orthodontic treatment; however, it is possible no further treatment will be necessary because the bones are now positioned properly allowing for more favorable tooth eruption.
